| Power Defrag 3 allows you to select a combination of system maintenance operations. These include defragmentation, standard and thorough disk checks and registry backups or system restore points. Once you have selected the tasks that you want to perform, Power Defrag 3 will take over. It will restart your computer in a temporary configuration that is optimised for the tasks which you have selected. Once all tasks have been completed, Power Defrag will restore your computer to its original configuration! The result of this is that Power Defrag controlled maintenance tasks finish in much less time* than the equivalent tasks running under the standard Windows environment. * The performance increase on your computer is not predictable because Power Defrag 3 is very sensitive to the configuration of your machine. By using Power Defrag 3, you may save anything from a few minutes to 8 hours. In some cases, Power Defrag 3 will allow the completion of tasks which do not run at all under the standard Windows environment. |
