SPAM RUNNER 1.10 is released. (20 May 2004)
E-Technik has released a significant update of its Spam Runner tool for Microsoft Outlook. This update includes feature enhancements, bug fixes and an entirely new registration system.

As the Internet drives the pace of business ever higher, an increasing number of customers have indicated a preference for the immediate processing of their orders. In addition, the deluge of spam that threatens to drown E-mail communications has resulted in a higher incidence of problematic registration code deliveries than before.

In response to these trends, E-Technik has undertaken to move towards a fully automated registration system. Spam Runner 1.10 is the first step in this direction, including an entirely new registration code system that allows us to partner with sales partners that allow the instant fulfillment of shareware orders. This fulfillment model will be rolled out across our main software products by the end of the year.

Registered users of earlier Spam Runner versions will receive a new registration key by E-mail. This will replace their previous registration codes and should be used for this and all future updates within the Spam Runner 1 product line. In addition to providing instant fulfillment capability, these new codes are more secure, protecting the investment that customers make in E-Technik products to a greater degree.

SPAM RUNNER 1.02 is released. (10 February 2004)

E-Technik has released an updated version of its Spam Runner product today, correcting some minor cosmetic faults in the original product. In addition, the new version will correctly detect spam messages that have a blank sender address field.

Spam E-mail that comes in with no source address is very rare. Nevertheless, we have observed an increasing incidence of such messages in the last few weeks and saw fit to update our product in line with this emerging trend.

This highlights E-Technik's commitment to combating E-mail spam. Users can rest assured that similar improvements in the protection offered by Spam Runner will be made available as they are required.

SPAM RUNNER 1.01 is released. (28 January 2004)

Spam Runner has passed all of its compatibility tests with Microsoft Outlook 2003. An update release has been made available. This includes updated documentation and cosmetic fixes.

It also heralds a bright future for E-Technik's utility software as Spam Runner technology will be used in an expanded product range covering more platforms and market segments.
